Data Protection
We built Laive knowing that relationship conversations are among the most sensitive data a person can share. Here's exactly how we protect it.
Conversations are not stored long-term
Your chat with Laive is processed in real-time by Anthropic's API and is not saved to our databases. If you clear your browser, the conversation is gone. We designed it this way on purpose.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever. Full stop.
Screenshots are not stored
When you upload a screenshot for analysis, it is sent directly to Anthropic's vision API and processed immediately. We do not retain images on our servers.
Email data is minimal
We collect only what's necessary to send you emails you opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email. We use Resend for transactional email.
Payments are handled by Stripe
We never see your full card number. Stripe processes payments securely and is PCI-DSS compliant.
You can delete your account
Email privacy@couplesaitherapy.com and we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
GDPR & CCPA
If you are in the EU or California, you have additional rights including access, portability, rectification, and deletion. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. We use industry-standard hosting security via Vercel. We regularly review our security practices.
